Consumer Alert: Improperly Pasteurized Chocolate Milk
New York State Agriculture Commissioner alerted consumers that chocolate milk produced by Edgwick Farm LTD, Cornwall, NY is being recalled due to improper pasteurization.
No illnesses have been reported to date to the Department in connection with this problem.
The recalled chocolate milk product was sold at several Hudson Valley Farmers’ Markets in the last week. The product was sold under the name Edgwick Farm Chocolate Goat Milk. It was packaged in a half-gallon plastic container bearing the container code of: 060415 BEST BY 061815.
